A.N. Chafi is a scientist (Chemist and Statistician) and an engineer (Civil and Environmental) with an extensive training at UC-Berkeley, UC- Davis, Air Resource Board (ARB), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

As a scientist, Professor Chafi has over twenty years of teaching experience at California State University Fresno, National University Fresno, and Fresno Pacific University. For the last seven years, Professor Chafi has been teaching review courses for the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and Professional Engineer (PE) tests at several locations in California.

As an engineer, Dr. Chafi has been working with California Department of Transportation (Cal Trans) for the last ten years in the environmental branch. Dr. Chafi gave several seminars and published hundreds of technical reports on Air Quality, Noise, and Water Quality for all levels of environmental documents.
